I purchased this item as a gift. She received two different covers for her Macbook and decided to keep this one because it appeared to be the better quality one of the two she got for Christmas this year. The price seemed high, but I couldn’t find it cheaper anywhere else.

The case is excellent in every area except the way to remove it without compromising the little hooks that hold it to the computer. Maybe we are just a little afraid to attempt it. Very happy over all with the case.

I was very disappointed with this product. The bottom half was poorly constructed, and did not properly fit my computer. Also, the case was unevenly shaped in the rear. To be honest, it looked like someone took an older shell and used an exacto knife to retrofit it for the Macbook Pro. Also, there were some unnecessary ridges which interfered with wrist movement while I was typing. Finally, the “satin” exterior was a major dust magnet. I swear I never so much dust near my Macbook until I put this thing on my computer. Save your money and buy a nice neoprene sleeve instead.

i am so glad i ordered this case instead of the cheaper but also cheaper looking cases. the hard shell protects my new macbook pro perfectly from scratches and feels nice and soft. i love the colors that speck offers. i chose my favorite color purple and it’s exactly like i wanted my mac to be! pruplelicious!

This was advertised as a cover for a small Mac. Of course once you took off the cover it was NOT returnable. in tiny letters, it said ON THE COVER that it was not for a Macbook, something conveniently NOT in the description for this item. so now have a great cover, that does NOT fit my laptop. Thanks advertising guys!
