Many people want to check email and do routine communications
while away from home or office. This can be a great bother and intrude
on ones free time. It can also save a lot of free time.
There are a variety of wireless communications from
cell phones that are web enabled, PDAs, laptops, rental of time at cybercafes,
using modems over wired phone service.
Some of these things work sometimes at low or no cost
at all. There is an open invitation from many facilities to use the Internet
as a draw for customers at Camp Grounds, resturants, malls... you name
it. Connection is also offer as a public service by libraries, and civic
centers and schools and some parks.
Sometimes these access points do not work well or work
at all. By being aware of the variety of access points out there, you
can make it work one way or another.
