Netmeeting set up

1. Click on Start - Run

2. When a Run Window is displayed type in CONF and click OK

If NetMeeting is Not Installed

The following screen is shown then you will need to download NetMeeting from the Microsoft site. if possible. 

If NetMeeting is Installed

The following Screen is shown then NetMeeting is already on your computer. You will be able to setup NetMeeting.

Click Next.

On this screen just enter your first name, last name, and email address.  Click Next to continue.

We will not be using a directory server so make sure both check boxes are unchecked (as shown) then click Next.

Below click on the radio button that represents how you connect to the internet.  If you are using a dial up service click on the 28000 bps or faster modem.  If you connect via DSL or cable select Cable,xDSL,or ISDN.  Then click Next.

Above: It will make be easier for you to use NetMeeting in the future if you create a shortcut.  Check the "Put a shortcut to NetMeeting on my desktop" checkbox.  If you would rather put the shortcut on the Quick Launch bar then select that option.

The remaining screens in the setup wizard concern your audio equipment.  In most cases we will not use the audio features of NetMeeting so click Next on all screens until a screen with a Finish button is displayed. Click Finish.

Now Netmeeting is basicly setup.
