Export your favorites List in IESaving your favorites list with the export feature inside Internet Explorer is a good saftey measure. A favorites list can be built up over years and could take that long to replace. Your favorites list can be shared easily with others using the generated web page that export produces. 1. First within IE select the file menu and the export choice
2.Next you begin using the export wizard.
3.At this point you will choose export as shown below
4.The next two choices are what to export and where to send the finished web page file
5.Then just select the Finish button and your file will be made and sent to where you decided upon.
The resulting file looks like the image below, a web page here displayed in IE but can be opened in Firefox or any other browser.
This file can be edited in any web page editor or in notepad... if you know how to do direct html editing.
