Provided that you have already installed Audacity the free sound editor (see our software page). you can make mp3 files and edit them.

To set up Audacity to export mp3 files requires that you have the lame_enc.dll file. You can download it here...

lame_enc.dll download right click this link and "save target as" to your hard drive disk where you wish to save it, remember where you put it.

To establish the mp3 feature select File/Preferences

Then select file format

Find Library button lets you go see where you saved the lame_enc.dll file

Now you are ready to roll.
