Active X controls are optional but sometimes necessary. So you may want to learn how to shut Active X off and back on again.

To disable or enable Aactive X controls in Internet Explorer do the following as shown below...

1. Select Internet Options from the Tools Menu in Explorer

2.Select the Security Tab and then Custom Level

3.Depending on if enabiling or disabiling select the correct radio buttons

4.The program will ask are you sure? If you are select yes.

Then select OK and you are done until you want to change things back.
